We live with our family. There is also a group of people around us who do not belong to our family, we call them our society.

Here, if we give the key of our happiness to everyone around us, it would be really impossible for us to be happy. Because some or the other person would lock the happiness!

Let me explain it with an example, an uncle of mine resents the fact that one of his friends did not offer him tea some 5 years back. He still remembers the incident and feels bad. That person is still his friend and does not know anything about it. But, my uncle repeats the incident at least 3-4 times a week. This makes him sad, angry and full of negativity. Now, the solution here is, either he shares his emotions with his friend, or he goes out drinks a cup of tea himself and forgets and forgives.

Believe me, it works! You should never allow other people to hurt you. Why should you torture yourself for something that other people have done?

Another example: A couple was standing in a corner in a marriage ceremony with really depressed look? I went up to them and asked them, what happened?

And……..lo…….the old man burst, “ koi khane ko bhi nahin pooch raha hai!”

Now….Now… what is this? The groom and the bride’s families had invited him, arrange for a buffet dinner, What else did they want?

This is like you want to be unhappy and so you are…………….

So my advice is, “Keep your mental switch ON, Do not let anyone OFF it!” The control should be with you.
